T his week the V arsity T earn will
play tw o gam es with \\ hitm an College
which has one of the fastest college
baseball nines in the Inland Em pire.
T he gam es will be played at R ecre­
ation P ark on T hursday and F riday
afternoons.
On both days the gam es will be
called prom ptly at three forty-five.
T his will allow business men from
down tow n to attend the gam es and
will also give those students who have
afternoon classes an opportunity to
see the contests without m issing their
classes. T he price of each gam e is
tw enty-five cents with an additional
charge of ten cents for the grandstand.
S tudents should patronize these gam es
and give our team encouragem ent for
their opening contests.
