The Eutaxian Society held its reg­
ular meeting last Friday. Jennie Lilly
gave a recitation. It was well render­
ed. Elsie Davis read a paper about
the birds which are found around Eu
gene this time of the year and had the
specimens from Professor Sweetser’s
collection. The debate was postponed

Mrs. Zieber, Mrs. Terrill and Mrs.
Hayward entertained several of the
members of the Y. W. C. A. at the
home of Mrs. Ziebers on Thirteenth
Street. The afternoon was spent most
pleasantly in conversation and late in
the afternoon a delicious lunch was
served bv the hostesses.
