The Annual Literary Index to Period
icals, Book-Chapters, etc., so useful in
University of Oregon library has been
improved in the issue for 1905.
Entries, instead of being by title only
with separate author itidex, are by au
thor, by title and by subject, which great
ly increases the usefulness of the work.
There are retained the iudexi to general
literature, the bibliographies, the necrol
ogy and indexi to dates of principal
events for the year. Italics are used to
distinguish fiction and the title is changed
to “The Annual Library Indexi.”
