training was great. I am
"computer challenged" but this system is so easy to
use. It was a lot more than I expected and it'sgoing to
be a great benefit for homecare workers, our clients
and case managers as well. I can't wait dntillt's up
and running statewide."
The system will roll out in stages into other areas
of the state once it has been tested, which should
happen in January and February 2007. Homecare
workers who are interested in being referred to
potential consumer-employers will need to complete
a new employment application and those will be
made available in the near future.
The Registry & Referral System will be an incredible I
tool for people to be able to search for a homecare
worker who isavailable when they need someone and
for caregivers who are looking for a new employer or
additional hours. If you would life to take a peek at
how the registry operates, go to our website
www.seiu503.org and visit the homecare local.
