    Care Providers Caring for Oregon
In January, under a plan to connect homecare
workers, nursing home workers, and childcare
workers to take advantage of our similarities,
we created a Care Provider Sector within our
union. Homecare, child care and nursing
home workers will have the ability to develop
shared legislative goals and support one
another in building a powerful and effective
voice at both local and statewide levels.
This is great opportunity for
homecare, child care and
nursing home workers to
improve our ability to talk
with legislators and have a
voice in the decision making
that affects our lives and
our work.
