    New Look For OPEU!
(Banner) Power for People WhoWork!
It seems to be something in the air. Or
maybe it has something to do with summer.
SEIU has adopted a new logo and is producing a
new magazine with a very exciting look for SEIU
member leaders and activists (See Page 24 about
the new SEIU logo and SEIU Action):
Many OPEU members are sporting the
new OPEU button which was introduced earlier
this spring. The new red and black buttons not
only identify who we are but also tells people
that we’re a local of the Service Employees
International Union - part of one of the largest -
and most active labor unions in today’s labor
movement.
We’re also carrying a new banner (See
Left), So far, member feedback has been very
positive. We think this new look sends a clearer
message as to who we are. Let us know what
you think by sending in your comments for the
next issue of The Oregon Public Employee (See
below for the address).
