Scanning the police blotter last Sat­
urday we ran across an interesting
report of a traffic accident:
“ The operator of the other car
charged with drunken driving crashed
into Mrs. Murphy’s rear end which
was sticking out into the road.”

court last Tuesday, the jury foreman
handed in a verdict:
“ We find the defendant gorgeous,

oh, yes, not guilty.”
Two little Mosack girls were dis­
cussing the Sunday school lesson. “Do
you really believe there is a devil?”
“ Oh, I don’t,” answered the older
