ta ry conflict and S enate B ill 129, an
adm inistration bill providing <for the
certifications of five nam es instead of
th ree for any one vacancylband two
additional' nam es for each additional
vacancy. U nder this bill the governor
may, in an em ergency, s u s p e n d i n ' ex ­
am ination procedure and tem porary
appointm ents m ay b e m ade. Norm al
exam ination procedure w ill be re ­
established at the close of :sucfi em ­
ergency.
House Bill 195, and OSEA sponsored
bill providing for the paym ent of
seven cents per m ile for private cars
used for staH i business has passed and
signed by the governor.
