lative program the matter of charging
vacation time as earned.
Approved a recommendation by the
director of civil service for the ap­
pointment of a Committee to advise
and assist the civil service staff in the
new pay survey soon to get under­
way.
Considered three recommendations
proposed by director of membership.
(1) That serious consideration be
given to opening the entire insur­
ance program to all state employes
and to study the effect it would have
on membership.
I (2)- To study the advisability of
establishing uniform dues within the
chapter.
(3) To consider making the vari­
ous chapters responsible for pay­
ment of a year’s dues for every
member who is on their records as
of December 31 of any year unless
within 30 days or a giW i time the
executive officer is notified that
such members are no longer with
the organization.
Voted to reclassify the position of
assistant executive secretary to per­
sonnel assistant | j B of June 1, 1950.

hire a part-time clerk stenographer I
on half-time to supplement the force of
the executive office and that Miss

a month for the work she is doing
in connection with applications for

one stolen during a recent robbery in
the headquarters office.
