the entertainm ent feature was a sort

ous begonia potted plants donated by
a lc-cal greenhouse.
An item of great in terest to all stated
employees was tak en under consider­
ation at the post two meetings. This
is the F ederal Social Security Act now
receiving attention in Congress. It ap ­
pears th at the Act w ill allow state p a r­
ticipation. W hether the Act will pro ­
vide m ore benefits th an m em bership
the Oregon R etirem ent System or
w hether it will be only a cheaper
method for the state to m atch funds
will be
