Chidsey, president of the
OSEA, has been a member of the
board of directors of the association
and very active in all its affairs since

member of the state highw ay depart­
ment’s personnel for almost 31 years,
he is now m <livision engineer, sta­
tioned at La Grande.
Mr. Chidsey was born in Oregon at
Prairie C ity and was educated at
H eppn er.. He early showed his en­
thusiasm for engineering by
his last two high school summers as
a chainman for the department. From

Edwin A. Bamford, Jr., more popu-

association’s vice-president. He has
been an O SEA member for two years
of Marion chapter No. 18, of w hich
he was president last yea r.^ A fte r

Portland, he w orked in automotive

Portland.

an income tax auditor and now holds
the position of - supervisor of the \w-ith-

Mr. Bam ford is married and has
two children, Douglas and M arie Ann.
With his SoBe Frances, he follows his
hobbies of gardening and music. Wood­
w orking and golf are other ^ìèisure
time activities. He is alsW a member
of the Salem Optimist club.
