P . M. B rand t, chairm an of the em blem
and pin com m ittee, reported. He showed
th e design of th e pin w h ich w as accepted
b y th e b oard of directors. Said board
a g re e d to h ave it set up in blue and gold
w h ic h are the state colors and the cost w ill
be less th an a dollar, depending upon the
n u m b er purchased. It w as m oved that the
rep o rt o f th e com m ittee be accepted and
th e m otion carried.
D. H. C am eron, chairm an o f the O SEA
em ployees retirem en t com m ittee, reported.
He said th at a fte r in vestigation of several
plans it w as subm itted to the P ion eer T ru st
C om p an y of Salem . T h e em ployees w ill p a y
th e sam e as the association, less social se ­
cu rity. T h e tw o accounts w ould be kep t
sep arate and the em ployees w ould b enefit
b y th e in terest on th eir accounts. The
com m ittee recom m ended th at the board of
d irectors continue to w o rk on this p lan
and w o rk out a ll details. Mr. C am eron
m ade this m otion and it carried.
