Unless and until he has
retired under option 2 or 3 a .member
of the system may designate new bene-
ficiaries or revoke previous designations
by giving written notice to the Retire
ment Board on forms furnished by the
Board, but no revocation or new desig-

and approved by the Executive Secre
tary of the Public Employes Retirement
Board.
In case a member has designated a
spouse as beneficiary, nothing contained
herein shall permit a change or revoca
tion of such designation without the
writtenconsent of the beneficiary-un-
less the beneficiary’s interest has been
