YWCA Helps In
Leisure Hours
The assistance of this magazine has
been requested in publicizing the serv
ices offered by the YWCA to women
who work for the state of Oregon in
Salem. I
There is fre q u e n tly a gap between
working hours,- dinner and the evening’s
activities. Realizing this, I the. staff has
arranged to haye the YW CA building
open between 5 and 7 p. m. Women*
who find they need a placé to spend
these hours‘ are* welcome to read or restó
in the living room and to write or
study in the writing room. They will
even find writing materials and maga
zines available if they have brought
none “w ith them.
It is not necessary to be a member
in order to be welcomed at the YWCA.,
It is hoped, however, that women, who
find the building and the organization,
of service to them, will support it by
becoming a member. Annual dues ate
$1.50. '
