Mr. Morelock said that as a long
range program the organization would
not continue to-, exist unless.it is made
a cooperative. H e said eventually things
would settle down and the problems
cried about would be so greatly ag
gravated th at in comparison now would
seem pale. W hen there are no issues,
i-r will be selfish interest and., the . or
ganization will exist only for that.
Mr. O ’Neil mentioned th at Mr. E. H.
Clymer, former director of public rela
tions, had said he w ould,like to work
up a scheme on a cooperative basis. Mr.
O ’Neil said he would go' on record as
being in favor of asking Mr. Clymer
if he would like to give some of his
time to such activities. -

munication from the State Tire Service
on ¡a group purchase plan and the secre
tary read the letter.'
Mr. O ’Neil said he believed that in
order- for any member to , be in 'a ppo
sition to avail him self, of this plan he
should be fully paid up for one year.
Mr. Morelock said that if the statp
should decide it cannot inefease wages,
it' might be suggested th a t it lend fa
cilities. for. purchasing $n lieu of such
increase. .„
i Mr. Chidsey moved that the president
of the Association or someone he might
appoint approach Eddy Clymer arid
ask him if he .Would get to workmen
this. It might be neces.sary’ to appoint
some member to help Mr. Clymer. Mr;
Ghidsey said he knew -Mr. Clymer had

Association gave him the w ord he would
