Mr. French said the out-of-state,
travel allowance is $9.00 and if the
additional $1.25 is requested for state
travel the outside travel should also be
increased $1.25.

Resolutions from Alba.ny Chapter
No. 7 with regard to, emblem and pin.
This is 1948 business and. will, be
taken up after the first of the year.
Mr. R. M. Smith stated that in going
back over records of previous General
Councils and Board of Directors meet­
ings it would be found that this same
matter came up and that no- action
was taken, it just hung fire, and that
it was the reason the original resolu­
tion carried a definite date.
Motion was made that the subject
be taken up at t;he first meeting of
the Board of Directors in 1948 for ac­
tion at that time. Motion carried.

toward the idea that none of the offi­
cers should approach the boards if it
could be avoided unless accompanied
by Mr. Stewart. He believed the spade
work could be done and then the case
should be properly presented by Mr.
