No- 9, November 10, 1947. Highway
maintenance and extra gang crew pet
diem. Committee recommended that
the resolution do pass. Motion made,
and seconded that the resolution, be re
ferred to the incoming officers for
suchiaction as they see fit.
Discussion brought out the fact that
thi^m atter had been introduced at
two previous meetings and referred to
the Board of Directors and it was felt
rid action had been taken. It was point
ed out that action had been taken as
the differential had been reduced but
there,; still is more work to be done.
Motion to refer the resolution to the
Board of Directors was passed.
Further discussion about resolutions
which previously were introduced and
on which it was felt no action had
been I taken. Mr. White suggested a
standing Resolutions Committee to in
form chapters of action taken on vari-
Cow Canyon
ous resolutions which are referred to
the Board of Directors for consideration.
Nine resolutions were received with
respect to salary increases. While the
Board of Directors at the Friday meet
ing recommended a 20% increase up
to $250.00 and a flat increase of $50.00
on salaries above $250.00, the commit
tee’s action was based on two resolu
tions, first and third, which Mr. Query
read. The committee presented the fol
lowing resolution:
