The Chapter membershipH was sad­
dened. by the death of Mrs. John E.
Mickel. John Mickel is a member of
the Redmond highway section crew.
The Chapter sent flowers and expres­
sions of sympathy to the surviving
members of the Mickel family.
The- meeting of the Bend chapter,
held July 19, was quite well attended,
members coming from Prineville, Red­
mond, and Bend. It was kept going at
