sion explained the changes and results
in the Civil Service and Retirement acts
when the new legislation becomes ef
fective, and everyone’s, 'attention was
held.
In a determined effort to increase
(the membership of our chapter, th a f
committee has plans under way for a
potluck dinner at the Woman’s club
for our - June meeting. W e h a v e too
many employeesiu our department who
are willing to stand by and accept the
benefits gained through the Associa
tion’s efforts and .yet refuse to lend
their assistance, and it is hoped more
of them will see the light1.
