O ur Vice President I is Bob Glenn,
Professor’ ,©f Highway ¿EngineeringBat
Oregon State'/collège. ‘He was born on
June 12, 1899 in West Sunbury, Penn.
He received his B.S. degree in “civil en­
gineering at the University òf Michigan
and later earned his • master’s degree in
highway engineering from Iowa State
college; Bob was^ân instructor in en ­
gineering at the University of Michi­
gan for one year, then came to,Corvallis
in 1920 to teach as O.S.C. In 1936 he'
took his present position. D uring his
summer vacations he has worked ~ with,.'
the engineering staffs- of- the State
Highway Department and the City of
Portland. . He also serves „on the Gov -
ernor’s Safety Council .and is widely re­
cognized as a civil engineer of high pro­
fessional standing.
Bob likes fishing and golfing and
does both .with skill. He is a member
of the Elks and Rotary clubs and finds
time for civili activities in Corvallis,
where he lives w ith his- wife and
daughter. I
Bob brings to the Association’s lead­
ership a wealth of "experience' in organ­
izational and promotional activities*. He
is energetic and keenly analytical in his
approach to the 0.§;EiA..’ objectives.
One' finds him a ready listener and in­
tensely sincere.

Bob Glenn
born ?*at Union Hill in Marion County
on October 83 1892. He attended school
at Keizer, Fruitland, Salem H igh and
Willamette university. He lives w ith his
wife and children in his: country home
near Salem. He has eight children, four
girls and four boys.
Since 1914 he has been employed by
the Industrial Accident Commission. He
has been promoted through the positions
of cashier and. auditor to his ,present pb-
sition of Assistant Commissioner.
. H unting, baseball, mountain climb­
ing and hiking are his special pleasures.
He also takes an active interest in the
Boy Scouts.
