A review of the Nominating Com­
mittees report was given by J. E.
Morelock.
Nominated for President: Bjarne
Ericksen. Bjarne Ericksen elected presi­
dent unanimously.
Nominated for Vice President: R.
M. Smith, Bob Glenn. Mr. Smith de­
clined the nomination and Bob Glenn
was elected unanimously.
Nominated for Secretary-Treasurer:
Max F. Rogers, L. R. White. Rogers
received 14 votes, White 22. L. R.
White was declared elected Secretary-
Treasurer.
Nominated for Director of Public
Relations: V. G. O’Neil. O’Neil elect­
ed unanimously.
Nominated for Director of Law and
Legislation: J. D. Patterson, Billy W il­
son, E. F. Chidsey, I. A. DeFrance.
Pattersen, Wilson, Chidsey, declined
the nomination. I. A. DeFrance was
elected unanimously.
Nominated for Director of Civil
Service: Claude M. Johns, W. F. Leary.

ASTORIA CHAPTER No. 8
Lewis Kerber’s paving crew is set up
in Rainier. Looks like the weatherman
is going to be the judge as to whether
they will complete the job or move on.
Frank Dillingham, caretaker at Brad­
ley park, is seriously ill. The chapter
extends sympathy and hope for his
speedy recovery.
Max Goodwin, who was away for
two months, has returned to work with
Roy Boldt’s maintenance crew.
Floyd Simon, superintendent of fer­
ries in Astoria, was a patient in the
Naval hospital for a few days. He is
back on the job again and feeling fine.
Don’t work too hard, Floyd.

elect were sworn in by Mr- J. E.

Mr. Query turned the gavel over to
