LA GRANDE CHAPTER No. 4
Joe Sellers, La Grande shops, cele­
brated his 65th birthday, May 22.
Hope you have many, many, more Joe.
Leland Dixon, Burns officeman, re­
cently visited the La Grande shops.
Yours truly didn’t find out who he
was until he left the shop—so didn’t
find out if Leo thanked Leland for that
big, black cigar.
Vacation time is going full swing
around the La Grande shops. Joe Camp­
bell, shop superintendent, took off for
the coast. Understand Joe ran into
quote a ilot of rain— too bad, Joe, bet­
ter luck next time.

Don Gruis, La Grande shop, had 4
wedding anniversary. Don brought hi?
wife a very beautiful gold wrist watch,
and low and behold if his wife didn’t
surprise him with a gold wrist watch
to match hers. Now they are both
sporting new watches. Many more
happy anniversaries, Don.
We recently had a visit from Mr.
Stewart, who gave a talk on the pro­
gress of the Civil Service commission
and the Retirement Plan.
