Hourly rated em ployees of the Oregon State Highway
Department are eligible for W eekly Benefits of from
$7.00 to $35.00, depending on salary classification.
Accident Benefits commence with the first day off
work. Sickness Benefits begin after the third day. Bene
fits continue for a maximum of thirteen consecutive
weeks, six w eeks for pregnancy.
In addition to the above, $1,000.00 of Group Life Insur
ance and from $200.00 to $2,000.00 of Principal Sum
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance are
available. The amount payable is determined b y sal
ary classification.
Payroll deductions make payment of premiums easy.
