Klamath Falls Chapter No. 12
Dear Iris:
W hat, don’t you read the bulletin
sent out every two weeks by our execu
tive secretary to all chapters?
Concerning the wage raise, when?? ?
When Brother, I’ll bite, when???
Dear Mr. Cooper:
I certainly am glad that the State
Employees have somebody to send their
gripes. I have done pretty good answer
ing some gripes since I was at the last
council meeting. But am stuck for an
swering two gripes that were shot at
me at our last meeting, so am passing
them on to you for answering.
Gripe 1— How many surveys does it
take before the State Employees get a
raise in wages., There has been 6 sur
veys made in the last 7 years of a road
to be built and nothing done yet. Is
that the way a wage survey works?
Gripe 2— Why was the district direc
tor picked to be elected by popular
vote, and all other officers elected at
the council meeting? W hy not elect
him there to, and give the small chap
ters a chance with the large ones; Will
be looking for the answer in the next
^magazine.
Yours very truly,
/ s / Geo. N. Perkins

Dear George:
Gripe 1—Wage, raises and surveys
have but little in common. Your anal
ogy is off the beam.
Gripe 2— The present method of
picking district director is'as democra
tic as possible— certainly more so than
being elected by the council;, however,
the constitution could be amended.
Suggest ; a resolution by your chapter
for the next council meeting.
