Every new member means just that much more strength for our Associ
ation, arid brings us nearer our goal of 100% membership in O.S.E.A.
"O.S.E.A. is the only employees’ organization to
energy and enthusiasm. You know, Errierson said, "Nothing great was
ever achieved without enthusiasm.” Our cause is a great one, and the
enthusiasm displayed by the members as a whole is very gratifying, and
will result, we hope, iri
many hundreds of new members this year. It is amazing how many
employees there are in State service who have been riding along on the
efforts of O.S.E.A., making no attempt to become members, or carry
their share of the responsibility. We honestly
believe that in many cases it has been an oversight, or just due to the
good old habit of "putting if off” ; and those are the people we are
especially eager to reach. If you know someone like that, give him a
straight-from-the-shoulder talk about O.S.E.A. You know what it has
done for you— and for him—so tell him about it.
represent state employees”. Our organization js out in front, constantly
looking after our interests.
Such representation is certainly worthy of our appreciation, and support.
Members are invited to come into the association and
help achieve the objectives and advance the cause of thé O.S.E.A.
Interest in membership should take a decided up-swing with thè begin
ning of the membership contest. Your committee stands ready and eager
to help you in every way they can. A little extra
push will see the realization of our goal. "They conquer who believe
they can” and we sincerely believe we can;' with the help of every
O.S.E.A. member.
