The Coos Bay Chapter held its reg
ular meeting in May. We had a very
good attendance. A t our April meeting
we had Mr. Erwin Clark and his as
sistant as visitors. The Coquille Chap
ter No. 10 extended to us an invita
tion to their April meeting, several of
us attended and we enjoyed the evening
very much. We appreciated their kind
consideration of us.
TILLAMOOK CHAPTER No. 15
A t our regular meeting held April
20 th at Tillamook headquarters, we had
a very good turnout of members from
Nehalem, Brighton and Tillamook. We
plan to hold a social meeting May 18 th.

Forest Stewart, Executive Secretary,
has been spending several days of each
week for the past two weeks in Port
land. W ith the assistance of Dave Bry
ant, Chairman of Chapter 17 Member
ship Committee, they have contacted
many of the state employees who are
not yet members. It i$ reported that
these two boys are really ‘going to town
and expect to have Chapter 17 mem
bership up to around 250 members very
soon and more to come. This will make
Chapter 17 one of the largest chapters
in the OSEA group. Lots of luck, fel
lows..
