vice to cover all State Employees in
Oregon.
Resolution No. 6
Whereas: A sound pension or retire­
ment plan for Public employees of Ore­
gon would achieve a material increase
in efficiency in the Public service, and
Whereas: The League of Oregon Ci­
ties is sponsoring a sound State-wide
retirement plan for all public employees
of Oregon
N ow Therefore Be it Resolved that
the Oregon State Employees Associa­
tion endorse the movement for a state­
wide retirement plan as proposed by the
League of Oregon Cities and commend
the enactment of legislation to cover
State, County and Municipal Employees
under such a plan in Oregon.
Resolution No. 7
Whereas: The League of Oregon Ci­
ties has pioneered the movement for a
state-wide pension or retirement plan
for State, County and Municipal em­
ployees in Oregon, and
Whereas: It is evident that the
League of Oregon Cities is actuated by
a desire to improve State Government
and the public service, and
Whereas: The League of Oregon Ci­
ties has given unselfishly of their time
and energy to this movement which

Therefore Be it Resolved: That the
Oregon State Employees Association
extend a vote of appreciation to the
League of Oregon Cities for their un­
tiring efforts in the furtherance of the
cause.

Whereas: The Oregon League of
Women Voters has pioneered the move­
ment for a state-wide Merit System of
Civil Service in Oregon, and
Whereas: It is evident that the
League of Women Voters is actuated
by a desire to improve State Govern­
ment and the public service, and
Whereas: The League of Women Vo­
ters has given unselfishly of their time
and energy to this movement which is
being sponsored by the Oregon State
Employees Association, now
Therefore Be it Resolved that the
Oregon State Employees Association ex­
tend a vote of appreciation to the
League of Women Voters for their un­
tiring efforts in the furtherance of this
cause.

relative to plans for the coming legis­
lative session, the meeting adjourned.

10:30 a.m. The nominating committee
report was heard and election held, as
a result of which the following offi­
cers were elected:
