Tribal Council elections are approaching once again, and it is
time for all interested Tribal Members w ith intentions to fill
the upcoming vacant seats to complete the Council Candidate
Application. You may request one of these applications at any
Tribal area office, or you can snip it out of the Tribal Newslet
ter. The Election Board must receive your Council Candidate
application by December 24th, 199 7 to be considered valid.
Once your application has been received by the election
Board, a letter of acceptance will be sent out w ithin 10 days.
If you submit a Council candidate Application and do not re
ceive a letter of acceptance w ithin the 10 day period please
contact me, Nancy McCrary, Election Board Chairman at
