COMPETITION
TO TRIBAL VETERANS
At the time the Veterans Memorial was
placed at the entrance of Paul Washington
Cemetery, Tribal Veterans were asked to send
in their names and branch of
the military In
which they served
to be included on the
Memorial.
To date this Memorial is incomplete and
we are again asking Tribal members to send In
the pertinent Information so we can continue to
add the names of those who should be
recognized for their military service.
This Memorial Is in honor of all Tribal
Veterans, living or dead, who have served their
country through military service both in war
and peace time.

BROWN FAMILY REUNION

potluck family reunion beginning noon,
July 28-29^1990 to be held at the Tribal
Community Center in Siletz, Oregon. Each
family is responsible for their own place
setting and for updating family history.

reduced to $5.00.

colors are limited.
Hats have
been reduced to $2.00 and are
available only in green. Cups are

The Pow Wow Committee would like to thank
Miss Siletz, Kelly Strickler; Little Miss
Siletz, Starr Staggs; and her court Megan
Janik and Kim berlee Thomas for
participating in the Newport Loyalty Days
Parade on Saturday, May 5. Every year the
committee sponsors a float in this parade to
promote the Nesika lllahee Pow Wow in
August.. This year, our Royalty did an
excellant job smiling and waving at the
people along the parade route. A big thank
you to Tom Staggs who drove the girls in his
snazzy red convertible. Thank you also to
Tracy Janik for all the help he provided
while we were getting ready and to Elaine
Thomas for her assistance.
