CONGRATULATIONS: To Raylene daughter of Reggie & Lillie Butler of Siletz.
She has won a $50.00 music scholorship and will attend a music summer camp
at Oregon State University. The scholorship will pay half of her tuition
for the week stay at the University in June. The students say Raylene will
be our next "Miss Tunes".
CONGRATULATIONS: Allison Simmons was crowned Carnival Queen for Siletz High
School. Allison sold $766.50 worth of tickets for her Senior class. Allison
is the daughter of Franklin & Nancy Simmons of Siletz. Last years queen was
Valerie Rilatos, Allisons classmate. Valerie is the daughter of Robert and
Maxine Rilatos also from Siletz.
Pre-School Graduates: Mini Feathers Pre-School has turned out six star graduates
Two of our graduates are with the Happy Tracks Day Care program.

The Mini Feathers Pre-School will be going on a year end field trip to the
Indian Forest next week. They will be celebrating the end of the 1980-81
kindergarden year.
HONOR SOCIETY: Trico League Banquet at Lane Community College on 5-5-81
saluted Kelly Simmons, Fonda Case and Barbara Fisher. They are graduating
Seniors from Siletz High School. They bid their farewells over a steak
dinner with comments of a job well done.

We have a Nutrition and Exercise class every Thursday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the
Siletz Area Office. We do Aerobic dancing come and join us.
Monie from Chemawa is the instructor.
We are having a Adult Womens Activity Group at the Siletz Area Office every
Tuesday 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Co-Host is Beverly White from the Alcohol
Program with special quest Jeannie Tom.
We are still doing home visits to Tribal Members, so please co-operate when we
call or visit your home. If you want any information on Health services feel
free to call Maxine Rilatos or Wilma Strong at the Siletz Area Office 444-2536.
