MOM— Guess who’s walking!
She just holds onto one of our
fingers in each hand and away
she goes. Saturday when we tried
walking she took her usual two
steps and then crawled the rest
of the way. On Sunday, after her
birthday party, we tried again,
she went all the way across the
living room. And then from the
bedroom to the living room and
on into the kitchen. I suppose
one day soon she’ll let go of my
hands and then I will find out
about what all these other
mothers have been warning me
about. You should see her face,
she’s so proud of what she’s
doing, and so are we. Cori’s party
was a lot of fun. She particularly
seemed to enjoy the phone to call
to you for her Happy Birthday
song. She liked her cake but not
the frosting. Also, she’s finally
learned how to pet and not pull,
and she and the cat are now
friends. Only 22 days to go. A..
