Evangelist holds meetings through 25th
Evangelist and Mrs. Warren D. Combs
of Nampa, Idaho will begin a special
revival crusade this Tuesday, February
20 at the Assembly of God Church,
Vernonia, states Pastor Jimmy Glenn.
Services will ebntinue nightly at 7:30
(except. Saturday) for one week only
through Sunday, February 25.
Rev. Combs has travelled in 19
countries on the world and preached also
in 32 states. He will show'color slides of
revival in Alaska during the cnisade here
on Friday night. The Combs’ win also
render marimba and trumpet solos arid
duets.
Rev. Combs has pastored 24 years in
three churches in Washington and Idaho.
During his 14 years he pastored in
Nampa, Idaho, a new $225,000. church
was built in 1971. He resigned two years
later, leaving it with only $9,000
indebtedness.

book, Pentecostal Catechism, is a survey
of the church’s beliefs on major Bible
Doctrines. He is also listed in “Who’s
Who in America” in Religion.
He served 10 years as Assistant
Superintendent of his denomination’s
churches in Idaho; was a member of the
National Presty ery Board of his
denomination, Springfield, Missouri for
10 years; has had 16 years of daily and
Sunday radio ministry; served as both a
Camp Meeting Bible Teacher and
Evangelist.

Correction
In reporting on the circulation of Dr.
Bacchiochi’s book, From Sabbath to
Sunday, I mentioned that he had
graduated in 19.77. This is incorrect.
Bacchiochi defended his dissertation in
the summer of 1974. The Gregorian
University Press published his book in
English in 1977.
