^g£_2_WILLAMINA^TIMES, Willamina, Oregon, Wednesday, March 7, 1973 The Wouldn’t you know it? I got so excited about going home from the hospital Saturday that my spastic colon postponed it until Monday! Between my wonderful neigh bors, dozens of friends and my husband, I’m going to be so lazy being waited on, I may never get back to normal routine! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with the flowers, (one orange Artificial arrangement has a blue bird in it), gifts, calls, and dozens of cards and letters still coming every day. I’ll never be able to answer them all, so I hope you don’t mirtd if I take this opportunity to thank you. I’ve been anxious to tell you that one of my favorite nurses aides was Beverly Wohl, (spelled right, Mama Ewell?) formerly of Willamina, and besides my hus band, my two most faithful visi tors were Dorothy (Cruikshank) Churchill and Mary (Hampton) Pest Tucker, former classmates when I attended Sheridan high school. Small world, isn’t it? Dorothy brought me home Mon day, which was her birthday (39th, of course) and as I turned on the local radio station, the first song played was “ Take it Easy.” Remember that old song? What a coincidence, since that was pre cisely what the doctor had ordered not an hour before! March came in like a lion over here with gale warnings up along the coast and rain throughout the day. As wet as it has seemed over here, there is deep con cern for the lack of rainfall and no snow to supply water through out the summer. Maybe March w ill' remedy that, not that I’d like or am forecasting snow! Hope you had fantastic birthdays Velda Ford, Della Lee, and Ha zel Dent. Also Happy Anniver sary, Laura and Carl Boehler, W illam ina Whoosits and Whatsits By Mrs. Kenneth Shetterly 876-3404 A lovely birthday party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hill on Sunday after noon honoring Miss Kathy Spur geon, Mr. Tom Paul and Tommy and John Paul.
