Scald milk in top of double
boiler. Add % cup sugar, salt, and
noodles. Cook over boiling water
20 minutes. Beat egg yolks. Add
to noodle mixture while stirring.
Cook 2 minutes, stirring constant
ly. Add vanilla extract and pour
into one-quart casserole. Spread
uith marmalade or Jam. Beat
whites stiff. Gradually add % cup
sugar, beating it in to make a
meringue. Spread oa P“dd,T,B-
Bake in moderate oven (350 F.) 15
minutes. Serve warm or cold.
Yield: 4 servings.
Perhaps using noodles in a pud
ding sounds unusual, but this re
cipe is merely an extension of the
rice and bread puddings—favorites
