MYSTERY CIRCLE HONORS MEMBERS’ BIRTHDAYS On Thursday evening, Sep tember 28, the Mystery Circle met at the home of Mrs. Gran ville Hulett. The evening was spent sewing and visiting. Mrs. Hulett served a birthday cake with jello salad honoring Mrs. Eric Erickson and Mrs. George Barry. The club presented Mrs, Erickson with a Shaeffer pen and Mrs. Barry with a lovey locket. Other gifts wre exchang ed among the Mystery Sisters. Ladies present were Mrs. How ard Carter, Mrs. Carl Odom, Mrs. Charles Frank. Mrs. Tony Haas, Mrs. George Barry, Mrs. Stella Carter, Mrs. Warren Gould. Misses Alberta and Helen Petersen, Mrs. Lynn Linton and Mrs. Eric Erickson. The Circle will meet with Mrs. Ray Pierce in October. FRESHMAN INITIATION SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY The freshmen initiation will be held Friday, the 13th. The initiation dance will be that eve ning from 6:30 to 10:30. As yet it has not been decided as to what the freshmen will have to do Friday, the 13th, is truly an unlucky day for the freshmen, but we hope they get over their □ad effects at the dance. Good luck to you who are just now entering high school and may there be four happy years ahead of you. ALBIN COOPER HOME ON 15-DAY FURLOUGH Albin Cooper, former Willa mina high school graduate and football star, is home on a 15-day furlough visiting his folks and at the high school where he has been practicing with the boys and giving them pointers to help build a winning team. The boys have appreciated Albin’s help and wish him the best of luck when he returns to his navy duties.
