HILLCREST NEWS
The Friendly Sewing club met with
Mrs. Young Wednesday. They will
have an all-day meeting next time at
Mrs. Nichol’s on Wednesday, June 19.
The club was surprised to see Mrs.
Nichols at Msr. Young’s. She is much
better.
Mr. Nelson is cutting his hay this
week.
Peter Nyberg was home Thursday
from Sherwood. As he was returning
he had bad luck; he broke his trans
mission on his truck.
Mr. and Mrs. Chet Fredrickson
are picking strawberries. They came
to the farm to get some of their
things on Saturday.
Glen Wagner has got himself a
team to do his farm work with.
Mr. Ray, our old Watkins man, is
at Tillamook. He was around in the
Hillcrest district on Saturday.
J. W. Stewart called on B. Whit
man on Monday.
There was a big fir tree fell acros;
the road by the Stuart place just
missing a team and wagon on Friday
