here this weekend, and Ann
and Curt returned home with him
Monday. They have been visiting
friends here and staying with
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gott.

A new priest, Father Jam es
, H arris, was due to arrive

Brookings on Thursday to assume
guidance of the parish. Father
H arris, who was raised in Pert-
land, has been serving as a ssis
tant at St. Josephs church in Sa
lem. Father H arris will be in
charge of the mission at Gold
Beach also.
A parish party was held for
Father Kies, Monday evening,
with the parish hall being packed
with well w ishers.
Mr. and M rs. Ted Stevers
and two daughters, Carol and
Patty spent two weeks visiting
relatives in Ukiah, California.
They enjoyed picnics and swim
ming in the lakes near there.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamann
and sons visited Mr. Hamann's
father in Tacoma, Washington.
They also traveled to Spokane
and through Idaho visiting anti
vacationing. He is Supt. of Ore-
Wash. Plywood Co.
