Mr. and Mrs. Doug M acFar-
lane are moving into their new
home on Spruce Drive this week­
end. The house was formerly
owned by Mr. and Mrs. Cloan
Powell, who have gone to Cor-
allis, where Mr. Powell is
going to study at Oregon State for
his m asters degree. He w as
the Science teacher in Brookings
for the past two years.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Vaughan
have moved into the apartment
over the Hi-Way Mkt. and Mr.
and Mrs. Lyle Vaughan have
moved into Alvin's home which
is on Del Norte.

last week where he visited at the

were called to Salem last week
to attend the funeral of M r.
Baniek's mother, which was held
at Belcrest Cemetery Thursday
afternoon. The Banicks returned
home during the weekend.

due to Merle Brown and his fam-
ly moving to Lebanon to make

taken it over again and is open
for business.
Mr. and M rs. Clark Kemske
and daughter Kim left lor their
home in Sunnyvale, California,
after a four day visit here at the
home of Mr. Kemske's mother,
M rs. S.N. Fischer. On Tuesday
M rs. Fischer left for Yakima,
Washington to visit for a couple
of weeks at the home of h e r
