w ith their son D anny, who has
a 30 day furlough from Cam p
C arson, Colo. He has been tra n s­
fe ree to F ort Lawson, near Seattle
and will be studying guided mis­
siles.

w ith relatives in K lam ath Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Amos Lapp visited
w ith relatives over the week end

tion at Dallas and Falls City
visiting relatives.
It it good to see our popular
deputy sheriff Wes Smith, back
w ith us again after being laid up
for '. c. a m onth w ith Sciata
rheum atism at the home of the
sheriff, R. G. Sabin in Gold Beach.
He also received treatm ent in the
C urry G eneral hospital while
there. Sheriff Sabin brought him
hom e T hursday, and he is able j
to be about his deputy sheriff
duties now.
Jack Johnson returned to P o rt­
land the la tte r part of the week
W ednesday after visiting here for
a week w ith his wife at the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Zum pfe, and w ith his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Paul Johnson.
