Forest Classification Group to Meet Soon D espite local balrniness, this is one of the latest grow ing seasons in m any years. All plant life is hesitating in dorm ancy. Usually, daffodil blooms are go ing from the local fields to m a r ket, beginning the first week in Ja n u ary , and norm ally, by this time, the cut is ju st tap erin g off. They are not com ing into the m arket from the fields below San Francisco and, of course, not m aturing in the fields n orth of here. The only blooms available are those forced u n d er glass, and these are very few, ow ing to unprofitable v en tu res along this line last year, w hen the forced and the outdoor blooms cam e on all at the sam e time. If the w eath er does- not tu rn m ore favorable, according to some of th e growers, and w arm w eath er comes onto the whole coastal area all at once, the m ark et will be flooded, although reports say, some blooms can be held in cold storage. W hile lilies are likew ise slowed , in grow th, the cold will not m at erially effect them .
