le tte r To The Editor
¡Dear Sir:
R ecently the two County papers
a n d the loyal D em ocrats and Re
publicans seem to be having quite
a sparring exhibition—in a verbal
form, of course—over some re verbal barrage started over a mis
m arks m ade by th e directors of in terp retatio n of the basic state
the Coos-Curry Co-op.
m ents m ade by the directors of
the Coos-Curry Co-op.
I have m ade a definite effort to
The statem ent m ade by the di
get at the “grass roots” of this
verbal hassle and I have come up rectors as individuals w ere back
w ith the answ er th at the whole ing S en ato r Morse. Now this does
not mean, or was it implied, th at
each shareholder in the Co-op was
to back Senator Morse. I do not
believe th at the shareholders m
the Coos-County co-op need an y
one to do th eir thinking for them.
(Of course, it does not take much
thinking to decide to cast a ballot
in favor of Senator Morse over the
other candidate.)
I, personally, believe we have a
very intelligent group of directors
heading die Coos-Curry C o-op;'at
least they are not afraid to let the
citizens of this area know how
they stand as individuals in this
S enatorial race.
Very tru ly your,
Virgel L. Clark
