STREET VACATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that on the 26th day of June, 1956
the City Council of the City of
Brookings, Oregon, adopted Reso
lution No. 21 initiating proceed
ings for the vacation of certain
unimproved portions of the record
ed plat of the City of Brookings,
Curry County, Oregon, which said
portions are therein described as
streets and an alley, and are more
particulary described as follows:
PART I : Those portions of Cen
ter Street and Park Avenue lying
Southw’est of a line drawn from
the Southwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 16, to the Northeast corner
of Lot 4 of Block 13 and extending
to the Southeast corner of Block
B and the Southeast corner of
Block A. Also that part of Lot 5,
Block 14 lying Southwesterly of
above said line.
PART II: That portion of Park
Avenue lying between the West
line of Fern Avenue and the
Southwest corner of Block B and
the Southeast corner of Block A,
adjoining Block 13 on the North
and Block B on the South.
PART III: The 20 foot alley
extending from the center of Lot
12, Block 15 to the Northeast line
of Block B and the Northeast
corner of Lot 23 of Block 12, all
of which fronts on Block A, B, 12
and 15.
It is proposed that the streets
will be replatted and rededicated
in accordance with the plat a t
tached to the above-mentioned
resolution on file with the City
Recorder and approved by the
City Council, and this vacation
proceeding is initiated for that
purpose.
Said resolution, together with
any objection or remonstrances
and/or claims for damages which
may lie made in writing and filed
with the City Recorder of the City
of Brookings, Oregon, at her of
fice in the City hall prior to the
time and date of hearing will be
heard and considered by the City
Council at its regular meeting be
ginning at 8 o’clock p.m. the 14th
day of August, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in said
city.

solves as follows:
BE IT RESOLVED that, pur
suant to ORS 271.130. the City
Council, on its own motion, does
vacate certain unimproved por
tions of the duly recorder plat or
the City of Brookings, Curry
County, Oregon which unimprov-
edportions of said plat are there
in designated as portions of Cen
ter Street, Park Avenue and an
alley, which portions to be va
cated are more particularly de
scribed as follows:
PART I: Those portions of Cen
ter Street and Park Avenue lying
Southwest of a line drawn from
