ON THE ROAD-
DRIVE SAFELY
Oregon’s roads and highways
were built on the principle that:
one good turn deserves another.
Driving safely on these roads is
an art which every motorist
should strive to master. Who
know? what danger may he lurk
ing around the next curve. As
you approach a hill do you always
know what is on the other side?
Do you know what the driver in
front of you intends to do next ?
These are some of the uncertain
ties which make driving hazard
ous.
Do you observe the simple rules
of the road? How close do you
follow the car in front of you?
