are enjoying a visit from their
son, Clifford, who has been in a
hospital in Connecticut for sev­
eral months. Clfford, who was in­
jured In an accident on a Naval
Base there is now on a medical
discharge which will h?come a
full discharge when he is com­
pletely recovered.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bolin have

both of Glendale, California.

the updating of the Brookings
Walking Blood Bank, at last
night's VFW Post and Ladies
Auxiliary meetings. The ladies
eagerly went on record to organ­
ize a crew and the veterans voted
an advance of $150 from their
funds to finance the work with
more funds available from the
post's treasury should other
money not lx* available.
