INSTALLS YAHR
By Bud Pisarek
What a quiet peaceful 4th of
July. No banging of firecrackers
or screaming of ambulance sirens.
That’s quite a difference from
when I was my father’s third
little dependant.
• • •
All of us of that past gone bang
up era that survived any casul-
ties might boast of the escapades
but deep down I think we all feel
a lot better about seeing the fire
works set off by professionals,
and at a safe distance.

Met the new owners of Curry
County Lumber the past week
end. Ross and Emmet Gulley ar
rived earlier and patiently waited
for the third member of the o r
ganisation, Marion Comfort, to
to check in. Mr. Comfort had a
good excuse for being a few days
tardy. Seems like he had to await i
the arrival of the Comforts ad
dition to the family, little John
Marion.
