A general meeting of all clubs and organizations has
been called for Sunday afternoon, at 2 p.m., in the City Hall
for the purpose of getting the general reaction for the proposed
acquisition of land to be used as a potential city park.
The Brookings City Council and Mayor Roy Brimra
called »he meeting, and agreed to try to contact presidents
of as many groups as possible during the next few day*.
They asked that every group try to send at least one rep*
resentative to the meeting.
It was thought by the Council that they would get a
better reaction as to the desires of the general public on the
