duction in the Armed Forces

come back expecting Joe to be
inducted, but he was deferred
and told to go back and finisn
his w ork at the Palmer* School
of C hiropractics w here he is due
to g rad u ate in about nine m ore
m onths.
Mrs. M ilton F o ster has re ­

b irth of a seven jo u n d , two-
ounce d a u g h te r to her son-in-
law and dau g h ter, Mr .and Mrs.

dividuals and business firm s to
his "Mail E arly For C hristm as ’
pleas. He w ent on to say th at
the period between now and
Decem ber 25th is bound to be
the heaviest of the y ear for all
postal employees.
The terrific stream of o u t­
going C hristm as card s and gifts
is now near full flood w ith a like
to rre n t of incoming m ail be­
coming g re a te r every day. In the
next few days the P o stm a ster
expects th e mail load to hit its
peak.
He said, “I know the tim e
has passed to ta lk about mailing
early. For the inevitable last-
m inute m ailers, he suggests th at
they use air-m ail for every’
C hristm as card or gift going
1 out-of-tow n and by all means
get then in th e mail today! Even
one d ay’s delay at this critical
tim e may m ?an disappointm ent
for a loved one on C hristm as.”
There is still tim e for loca*
deliveries but all C hristm as
cards should be sent first-class
mail to insure prom pt delivery.
