clude all phases of forest m an­

second, (growth tim ber; regenera­
tion of forests, including soils, in­
sects, diseases and utilization
phases; and w ater conservation as
related to forest m anagem ent. The
station wily coop rate closely
with other public and private ag­
encies doing forest research in­
cluding the sta te board of forestry
and the Oregon forest products
laboratory, which is located on the
OSC campus
P aul M. Dunn, dean of forestry,
Will be station director. A com­
m ittee of forestry staff mem bers
with George H. Barnes as chair­
m an will work with him. Re­
search will center in the 13,500
acres of OSC forest lands.
