Bowlin, who has been ta k in g his
basic train in g at F o rt Ord, and
left for B altim o re w here he is a t ­
tending intelligence train in g class­

er.t grandchild, seven-pound six-
ounce R obert Alan, who w as born
on F eb ru a ry 1 to Gene and his
wife.
Mr. and Mrs. C lifford F a n g e r
and th ree ch ild ren left last w eek
for M edford a f te r v isiting for four
days at the hom e of Mr. F a n g e r’s
broth er, F ran k lin , and fam ily a t
th e ir hom e up the so u th bank
road. T hey have ju st re tu rn e d
to the U nited S ta te s from Jap a n
w here they have been for th e past
four y ears at the New T ribes Mis­
sion at M izusaw a as m issionaries.
A fter v isiting relativ es for a short
tim e, Mr. F a n g e r w ill trav e l
arou n d the co u n try on a sp ea k ­
ing to u r for th e next six to nine
m onths, a f te r w hich they expect
to re tu rn to Jap a n . W hile here
they spoke at th e B rookings Bible
church and th e B rookings Com ­
m unity church services.
