of w a r o rp h a n s su fferin g from
tu b e rc u lo sis and o th e r disease
b ro u g h t on by m a ln u tritio n , of
th e aged and crippled and w a r
widows, have not been solved by
a n a rm istic e ,” Mr. F ly n n said.
‘ T he p o st-w a r period will be a
g re at crisis in th e ir lives. T hey
have no m eans of livelihood. They
have no source of food. M any of
th em have not even sh e lte r or
ad«*quate clothing. They a re faced
w ith new and serious com plica­
tions.
"CA R E is try in g to help these
refugees in this tim e of g re a t
need. It is p re p are d to rush to
them food w hich will keep them
alive until they can m ake new
ad ju stm en ts. It also has b lan k ets
and te x tile packages over there.
It is doing all it can to help these
people get a new s ta rt. B ut its
packages m ay be sent only uj»on
